KETTLEBELLS ARE THE MOST VERSATILE TOOL IN A TRAINER’S TOOLBOX – STAND OUT BY KNOWING HOW TO USE THEM SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY IN MULTIPLE WAYS.

The Functional Kettlebell Certification is reshaping what can be done with the kettlebell for you and your clients. It is also leveling up the educational experience for learning how to integrate and use kettlebells.

The Kettlebell is arguably the most versatile tool in the gym. Knowing how to safely & effectively use the kettlebell in multiple ways sets you apart as a coach.

The FKT program teaches how to use the kettlebell in ways that take advantage of it’s unique shape and training opportunities. We want to do more with kettlebells, not less.

The FKT understands that different people need different options, and as such every drill we teach provides safe and effective options to accomplish the same goals. FKT is non-dogmatic in its’ approach.

Upon completion of the FKT you will be confident in how to utilize the Kettlebell to uniquely load many variations of swings, cleans, snatches, presses, rows, windmills, getups, squats and more.

DO MORE WITH KETTLEBELLS; NOT LESS.

THE CERTIFICATION DELIVERY

We deliver our education both via digital online delivery, and with the 2-day live and in-person course.

Upon purchase you will receive video lessons to fundamentals (swings, cleans, snatches, turkish get-up, squat, deadlift) so that you can follow the prep program and be ready for the weekend certification live event.
At the live event we will cover multiple ways to teach clients to be successful with bells. We’ll teach many variations and progressions of kettlebell techniques.
At the live event you are required to practice, however we do NOT have a performance test out requirement. We are more interested in teaching the system, not your own level of output. You will certainly be physically challenged, but you do not need to worry about not passing due to a physical test.

While the course is designed for trainers, therapists and coaches, about 20% of our attendees are simply kettlebell fans who attend for their own learning.

What To Expect

In this 16-hour certification course, attendees will master the fundamentals of kettlebell training, as well as be given a progression system to continually get more out of kettlebell training by knowing when and how to progress the drills to target specific muscles, improve strength, power or endurance, and coordination/athleticism.

What you’ll learn

About Functional Kettlebell Training

Developed by kettlebell experts Clifton Harski (PPSC COO) and Logan Dube (PPSC Director of Education) the Functional Kettlebell Certification makes kettlebells more accessible for more people, while also providing many methods to continue to progress with the tool

Rather than taking the objectively incorrect stance that there is only one way to utilize a tool, the FKT will see participants thrive with many options of how to both get started with and ultimately improve their kettlebell skills and options.

What our PPSC
Alumni are
saying…

“Beginner to Elite, THIS is the new standard for KB certs!”

“Admittedly, there’s a partially selfish intention doing these workshops: I like to add new tools and toys to my OWN training program! KBs are awesome. However, it seems like a lot of certifications focus on Kettlebells as an “art form”. Which is great, if you’re looking to level up YOUR “5-min single arm snatch AMRAP” game for a competition, but as you can probably guess… that’s not our clients! Let’s be real here, if I’m going to be investing upwards of 4-digits on a certification, I’m looking to get a RETURN on that investment! That means it needs to translate to value for my CLIENTS through my ability to coach it, and it needs to be applicable to THEIR needs! Incredibly, this cert does BOTH!!!.”

Jon Reese

Owner of Opus Body Lab

“I highly recommend FKT certification.”

“I have been in the personal training for 19 years and only the past 10 years have been incorporating kettlebells. Sure I knew basic movements and how to coach them. But it was great to hear the PPSC staff teach their style and technique, especially Clif and Logan with their experience and expertise. It made me practice and get familiar with the different ways handling kettlebells, and how to use them as a tool to teach movement patterns to my clients. It was the most rewarding and fun certification seminar I’ve been a part of.”

Tony Muyco

Owner of Functional Elements

“This PPSC course is a must for anyone looking to implement kettlebell work into their fitness or rehab program.”

“The course emphasized strength, power, movement, and overall athleticism. All of the instructors were beyond supportive and gave great coaching cues and feedback. Bonus was an awesome pre-event video coaching and on-ramp program. It was a fun-filled, education-packed, sweat-like-crazy weekend and one that should not be missed!”

“My kb confidence is glowing”

“I thoroughly enjoyed how well it was broken down over the weekend. The instruction was made for us to deliver it to clients. So many takeaways and so much perfect detail. I didn’t feel super overwhelmed, I felt more confident. I really don’t think there was anything I didn’t enjoy. It was so great.

Hands down one of the best courses as far as simple detail is concerned. The program was so beneficial and the feedback was so helpful. I learned so much in the actual weekend course.”

THESE ARE SECTIONS WE HAVE ON OUR DIGITAL LEARNING PLATFORM FOR YOU AS SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION FROM THE WEEKEND

  • deadlift, squat, row, press. These are very basic drills, so we will not spend the weekend reviewing these, however the digital options provide great instruction.
  • Turkish Get Up. While synonymous with kettlebell training, we don’t actually end up using it with many clients, so we prefer to use the weekend time differently.
  • More progressions and special lectures in the future.
